Problems with current Identification systems

This is a very brief (but informative/interesting) set of highlights from a talk on the problems that exist in current implementations of identification systems. (especially the impact on the voting process...)

Here's 2 other related clips of Bruce Schneier explaining the problems with ID systems.

John Gray: Why Mars and Venus Collide

This is an overview of many of the talking points for the book "Why Mars and Venus Collide: Improving Relationships by Understanding How Men and Women Cope Differently with Stress" by it's author John Gray. I saw this and I don't know that I agree with absolutely everything being said (without more context) but I think there were many valid points that are worth being exposed to. If you've read Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus you should give this a listen.

I got a great deal of validation out of this and I think it may have given me new tools to deal with life in general. It's actually pretty funny too.

a brisk walk through basic networking (a high level view)

I ran across these randomly on youtube and liked them. They don't really go too far in depth on anything but they do cover alot in a small amount of time and give a decent overview. Good for folks trying to get started in networking. worth a glance.
